Bella FOR Critical Care

Hi! I’m Annabella (Bella), and I’m a Champion Kid at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. When I’m not busy designing cleats and hanging out with our favorite MVP, I’m telling people about the amazing care I receive at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. I was born with something called hydrocephalus, which means I had a buildup of excess fluid that was putting pressure on my brain. I had my first surgery at just one day old. I’m 10 now, and I’ve had more than a dozen other surgeries, including one in which the pediatric neurosurgery and craniofacial teams at GCH Buffalo reconstructed my skull. I’m so grateful for my team of doctors who take the best care of me, and we are lucky to have GCH Buffalo so close to home.
