The best—and ONLY—place kids can go for life-saving care.

Whether it is a split-second crisis, or a prolonged health journey, the Critical Care team at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo (GCH Buffalo), formerly Oishei Children's Hospital, is here FOR the moms, kids and babies facing the most urgent health situations.

Fueled by the Patricia Allen Fund, the Critical Care Team is able to do what they do best: provide compassionate, world-class care to our community's moms, kids and babies by having the best state-of-the-art equipment and technology and training and education for staff and support programs.

In 2026, your gift to the Patricia Allen Fund supports the region’s only Level I Pediatric Trauma Program, inclusive of the Emergency Department, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatric & Neonatal Transport Teams, Hematology/oncology program (one of only three of its kind in the country) and highest level neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) as a Level IV NICU.
